Building

The building process is made up of different stages. Here is our step-by-step guide to the building process

Stage 1

Designing:

Stage 2

Approvals

Once the plans our finalised our team of experts will get all the necessary approvals to get the building process started.

Stage 3

Site Preparation & Slab

This stage involves clearing the block of all rubbish and obstructions. The site is then pegged out by a surveyor. After this the slab... foundation is done. Plumbing is completed before the slab is poured as per the design specifications. Inspections are done by the design engineer and private certifier at this stage to make sure the slab complies with the approved design.

Stage 4

Frame & Roof Trusses

Timber framing is completed along with the roof structure at this stage. Frames can be pre-fabricated away from site or cut on-site by our ...expert team of carpenters. This stage also involves installation of all the structural steel as per the design engineers requirements.

Stage 5

Brickwork & Roof

The brickwork and roof is completed at this stage. What was only a skeleton before starts looking like a real house from the outside.

Stage 6

Electrical Wiring & Plumbing

The electrical wiring and plumbing are installed at this stage. Our team will get in touch with you prior to this stage to finalise the electrical plan and plumbing selections.

Stage 7

Internal Lining

Insulation is installed into the walls and ceiling at this stage followed by the plaster lining.

Stage 8

Waterproofing & Tiling

Waterproofing is done to all wet areas before the tiling work is started. Once the tiling is ...completed carpenters install doors, architraves and skirting boards. After this all joinery works are done.

Stage 9

Lock-Up

Lock-Up is completed once the garage door and all external doors are done.

Stage 10

Fit-Out

All the plumbing and electrical items are fitted out at this stage along with all the appliances and air conditioning.

Stage 11

Practical Completion

After the fit out an inspection is organised between the owner and the site supervisor to identify any items requiring attention.

Stage 12

Handover

This takes place once the items identified with the owner during practical completion have been rectified and the house is ready for you to move in.
